I decided to engage Melissa Opie as my Vendor’s Advocate to sell my investment property after the exceptional job she did helping my in-laws sell their family home & secure their new property. After leasing my property for 10+ years, it needed a refresh and I’d been reluctant to sell because a) the tenant was great and b) I didn’t have time to organise trades and prepare the home for sale due to work commitments.
Turns out, I didn’t need to worry about either point! Melissa quickly built a relationship with my tenant, explained the situation and was able to help her find a new rental property. My tenant had been thinking about moving for a while and me selling the property was the motivation she needed to make it happen.
In terms of preparing the property for sale, Melissa project managed everything from start to finish. She arranged all trade quotes including painting, flooring, gardening, and furniture styling. The result was amazing – to the extent that I considered not selling and moving in myself!
